Water Contaminants: Analysis of Polar Contaminants and Glyphosate with QSight^® LC-MS/MS

Introduction

Water quality standards include a wide range of priority substances which pose a significant risk to human health. These substances include a large number of polar contaminants and the guidance has established low minimum detection limits requiring highly sensitive methods. In addition to sensitivity, these contaminants encompass a wide variety of compounds and chemical classes which presents a further analytical challenge for water scientists. This talk includes an overview of polar contaminants in water and their pathways, regulations related to these compounds and methods for their detection in drinking water.
