Re-thinking, design and fitting out a new laboratory for modern times is a challenge, especially in the Hydrocarbon Processing Industry (HPI). This sector currently faces significant challenges with aged facilities under revamping or renew, sustainability objectives to be considered in laboratories, lab equipment obsolescence, new equipment capabilities to take advantage of new market options and become more efficient in the quality testing and cost, and finally, new software implementation. This presentation demonstrates six principles to take into account for success in the laboratory projects SGS EPC takes on.
