Chemical Management

• Chemical inventory management is another high-risk activity that should be dedicated to a special team.
• Unlike consumable inventory management, chemical management requires specialized skillset and background to help mitigate occupational risk.
• End-to-end lifecycle management from purchasing and receiving the chemical, to registering into the inventory and safely storing and segregating the material in between use.
• We can work in the customer system already in place or PerkinElmer partners with key vendors to deliver digital inventory solutions.
• Lower costs by reducing inventory through consolidation, and data driven decision making as well as reducing EH&S audit findings.

Glass Washing & Glass Inventory Management

• Glassware is critical to any research operation and having clean, quality inspected glass returned to their dedicated owners adds value.
• The glass wash technician is responsible for sweeping the labs and picking up dirty glassware, washing it, inspecting for defects, and then returning it back to the lab.
• Our staff are trained to GxP standards and use SOP driven processes to perform this activity.
• A simple, yet valuable tracking system that starts from the point of collection and ends at the return to the labs, eliminates a lot of unhappy scientists.
• Autoclave use is another critical activity for a variety of reasons, leave it to the dedicated glass wash staff.

Lab Concierge

• The Lab Support Coordinator is at the heart of any general lab service operation.
• They are responsible for coordinating a wide variety of activities and services including non-PerkinElmer provided activities.
• The Lab Support Coordinator has an active presence in the lab, readily available to a scientist to help solve a problem.
• Trained to have in-depth knowledge of their customer site and provide the highest level of customer service.
• Does your scientific staff need help scheduling and escorting vendors to fix equipment? Look no further than the Lab Support Coordinator.

Laboratory Gas Management

• Lab gas management is a critical part of keeping the research operation functional, but it is also risky and takes a lot of time away from science.
• Our gas technicians ensure an uninterrupted supply of liquid nitrogen, dry ice and other gasses.
• Targeted expertise and critical training elements are key parts of safe delivery and distribution.
• Technicians work from SOP driven Processes and Risk Assessments.
• PerkinElmer can work with the appropriate vendors to manage or even own the necessary contracts.

Consumable Inventory Management

• A consumables team tracks is responsible for mainly non-hazardous materials needed for research; these are pipette tips, plates, centrifuge tubes, etc.
• The scope of responsibility includes managing stockroom areas as well as satellite locations closer to the labs.
• A scientist has a stockroom request? Let us bring it to them so that they can avoid disruption.

Laundry/Protective Gear
