Recent supply chain issues have necessitated raw materials supplier changes, additional layers of materials testing and formulation pivots in order to keep up CASE materials and CASE chemicals production levels. In this webinar, we will discuss an in-depth analysis of raw materials such as acrylates by liquid chromatography (LC) and look forward to the shift to alkyd resins. We will also touch on the use of Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) for analyzing other common raw materials and final products.
We will also review QA/QC analysis with IR for adhesives like tapes, glues and other adhesives, to ensure polymerization and curing characteristics for final product profiles. Additionally, we will touch on VOC analysis in the evaluation of resin quality with GC.
