Orange County Water District Customer Testimonial

Introduction

When water is a limited resource, ingenuity is essential. The highly regarded Orange County Water District (OCWD) is no stranger to being innovative to help sustainability in their community. OCWD takes the wastewater from the Orange County Sanitation District next door and treats it to drinking water standards. In fact, with the help of a PerkinElmer NexION® 2000 ICP-MS OCWD achieves extremely low detection limits and participates as one of the only certified public laboratories in the Unregulated Contaminant Monitoring Rule (UCMR) program.

Melissa Hill, Supervising Chemist at OCWD, shares her insights on the innovative drinking water resource management and treatment work occurring at OCWD and how the PerkinElmer team helps deliver clean drinking water to Orange County.
