Double Aperature Accessory

The photometric accuracy of spectrophotometers is limited by detector non-linearity errors. These errors can be reduced by use of the double aperture accessory, which allows non-linearity to be characterized and corrected for. Typical applications include specular reflectance measurements on very high reflectance laser mirrors and transmittance measurements on filters.
