High Throughput System for Avio ICP-OES

PerkinElmer's High Throughput System (HTS) is a uniquely designed flow injection sample introduction module that integrates seamlessly with the Avio® series of ICP optical emission spectrometers (ICP-OES) to dramatically reduce sample-to-sample analysis time, thereby improving throughput while maintaining operation simplicity. The HTS maximizes productivity by significantly reducing the time required for the sample uptake, stabilization, and washout.

Overview

The High Throughput System (HTS) for the Avio® 500 ICP-OES is a built-in modular flow injection system consisting of a metal-free, 7-port valve, 4-channel peristaltic pump and a high-speed vacuum pump that expedites sample loading and washout processes. Designed to operate with Syngistix for ICP-OES software, it eliminates additional complex software interactions, enabling users to control all system parameters using one software platform. The HTS improves sample throughput 3-5 fold by greatly reducing sample flush, read delay, rinse, and overhead steps in the sample analysis cycle.
