This Contract Required Detection Limits (CRDL) Standard is made in a 5% nitric acid solution with traces of tartic and hydrofluoric acid. The solution contains 120 ppm Antimony (Sb), 100 ppm of Cobalt (Co) and Vanadium (V), 80 ppm of Nickel (Ni), 50 ppm Copper (Cu), 40 ppm Zinc (Zn), 30 ppm Manganese (Mn), 20 ppm Silver (Ag), Arsenic (As), Chromium (Cr), and Tellurium (Tl); 10 ppm of Beryllium (Be), Cadmium (Cd), and Selenium (Se), 6 ppm of Lead (Pb).

Used to verify the Contract Required Detection Limits (CRDL) for ICP and HGA elements. Contains, all the required elements on the TAL at the correct concentration ratios. Dilute by a factor of 1000 prior to use to meet the "two times CRDL" requirement for ICP analysis. Dilute by a factor of 2000 prior to use to meet the "one times CRDL" requirement for HGA" analysis. Remember to perform this standardization at the start and the end of each sample analysis or at least twice in an 8-hour shift for ICP analysis and at the start of your sample analysis run for HGA analysis.
