An Oyster cell consists of a top and bottom window assembly fitted together to create a defined, repeatable path length. The cell sits horizontally in Pearl optical unit tray. The top window defines the window material. The bottom window determines the path length. Windows can be combined to create varied configurations of path length and window orientation (parallel or wedged). The wedge angle is set for the bottom window assembly only.
