Fluorescein labeled dideoxyuridine triphosphate is biologically active and can be incorporated with a variety of DNA polymerases including Taq, Klenow fragment, and Sequenase™. It terminates further incorporation and enables identification of the complementary base for applications like DNA sequencing and detection of point mutations.

|Unit Size||50 nmol|
Fluorescent 2’, 3’-dideoxynucleotide analogs are biologically active with a variety of DNA polymerases. Since dideoxynucleotides are chain terminators, they result in the analog being extended in a base specific manner onto the 3’-end of the DNA chain.
