Turn Chemical Drawings into Chemical Knowledge
ChemDraw helps chemists work more efficiently, communicate more clearly, and reach crucial information effortlessly. The Cloud application ChemOffice+ empowers you to easily search and re-use existing chemistry documents and create and annotate lists of molecules and reactions that can be converted into presentation-worthy reports.
ChemOffice+ Cloud is the Suite that transforms your chemical drawings into chemical knowledge. It builds on the foundations of ChemDraw Professional and adds access to a broad set of powerful scientific tools* to enable scientific research.
ChemOffice Professional is a full suite of scientific productivity tools helping chemists and biologists perform and keep track of their work efficiently.
ChemOffice+ Cloud version 20.0 is the Suite that seamlessly turns your chemical drawings into chemical knowledge:
Search, Reuse and Report Chemical Content: ChemOffice+ lets you extract and re-use existing chemical content from old ChemDraw files, stored inside MS Word, Powerpoint and SD files without having to open them. Quickly create collections – lists of molecules or reactions with a reporting purpose – that you can annotate, edit, and export as Powerpoint and SD files.
Google Patents Add-in: Initiate chemical structure search into Google Patent and Google Scholar from the comfort of ChemDraw and get immediate insight into applications of your compounds.
3D Clean-up and Display improvements: Take advantage of the new 3D Clean-up and Structure Perspective improvements to generate 3D conformations of your 2D molecules. The Structure Perspective depth shading facilitates the perception of 3D on your canvas.
Atom and Bond Highlights: Select molecules, bonds, atom labels, and individual atoms and highlight them with colors to make your chemistry more visually compelling and easier to follow. It can be combined with the recently introduced Ring Fill Coloring.
New Atom Hotkeys and new Molecule Hotkey: A new version of ChemDraw isn’t complete without a new set of hotkeys. A new molecule hotkey “Enter”, lets you activate the hotspot on a selected molecule without touching the mouse. New entries include the sulfone group (“k”), the tert-Butyl group with 90° angles (“Shift+k” on primary carbon), and the wedged/hashed wedged gem-dimethyl group (“Shift+k” on secondary carbon).

Now every chemist can draw beautifully. From a simple drawing tool to a chemically intelligent application, ChemDraw has evolved into software chemists and research scientists rely on for everyday tasks. Read how.
Recent times have demonstrated the need for digital transformation, often in harsh terms, including a loss of R&D productivity. As a result, R&D organizations in advanced chemical manufacturing must find ways to improve efficiency in an increasingly challenging environment. This white paper provides guidance on which technologies yield improved turnaround times, smarter questions, and faster answers.
At first glance, it would seem that the work that goes on at R&D labs in applied materials companies has little commonality with the processes used in the pharmaceutical industry to discover new therapeutic drugs. On closer examination, the principles are very similar. Examine the similarities to understand methods for improving your workflow.
