Biotin labeled deoxyadenosine triphosphate (dATP) is useful for labeling with a variety of methods including nick translation, random priming, polymerase chain reaction (PCR), and 3'-end labeling. Biotin-labeled products may be detected with streptavidin conjugates. For the highest sensitivity in detection, we recommend using a streptavidin-HRP conjugate with tyramide signal amplification (TSA).
The number ""11"" in the compound name refers to the length of the linker arm between dATP and the label.

TSA reduces exposure timein an imaging assay for PKCa. Protein kinase C alpha (PKCa) is associated with a wide variety of cellular processes including proliferation, adhesion and motility.
Nucleotide analogs are biologically active with a variety of DNA and/or RNA polymerases. Labeling methods such as: nick translation, random priming, polymerase chain reaction, 3'-end labeling, or transcription of RNA using SP6, T3, or T7 RNA polymerases may be used.
