This control lysate is intended for use with the AlphaLISA SureFire Ultra Total 4E-BP1 Detection Kit or for use as a control for those running orthogonal or secondary assays along with the SureFire assay. To prepare the lysate MCF7 cells were cultured to confluence in T175 flasks in 10% FBS containing medium, then treated with 500 μg/mL insulin for 30 minutes and lysed in 20 mL of 1X SureFire Ultra Lysis Buffer.
