Using microCT Imaging to Assess Bone Loss in Preclinical Models

In this webinar, we highlight recent research in the field of bone loss using microCT. The ability of microCT scanning to monitor disease longitudinally, detect fine bone architecture change and differentiate treatment efficacy were discussed. However, simply detecting bone loss is not enough and quantification of bone changes can be time-consuming and user-dependent. Learn how the Quantum microCT scanner and AccuCT advanced bone analysis software were used to automate bone identification, segmentation and analysis, resulting in increased throughput and accuracy while revealing advanced bone parameter insight.
