Complete Grain Mycotoxin Testing – Solutions for screening, high-throughput requirements, and exacting confirmation

Mycotoxins are metabolites produced by mold. They’re hardy as well as dangerous and can be found in highly concentrated levels in many grain byproducts. PerkinElmer offers several solutions for mycotoxins depending upon your requirements. For simple screening, check out our water-based extraction Auroflow™ Lateral Flow test strips. For high volume screening, use our MaxSignal™ ELISA kits and add automation for even higher throughput. The LC 300 and QSight instruments are also used for quantification of mycotoxins to minute levels with high selectivity.

Solus One E.coli O157

Being able to accurately and rapidly test raw meat, and specifically beef, for bacterial contaminants such as E. coli is necessary to ensure those food products are safe to consume. The Solus One E. coli O157 is an extremely sensitive and specific enhanced ELISA for the screening of large samples of raw beef to detect E. coli O157:H7 with time to results within 12 - 14 hours. With results one day faster than other molecular or culture methods, the Solus One assay is efficient.

High Throughput Screening of Aflatoxin M1 in Milk Samples by Automated ELISA Platform In the following study we demonstrate the accuracy and precision of the MaxSignal® Aflatoxin M1 ELISA kit (Cat# FOOD-1060-05) at the EU MRL of 0.05 ppb and the US MRL of 0.5 ppb. We also provide data showing the limit of detection (LOD) of the kit. Further, we show the variability between performance of manual ELISA and DS2 automated ELISA platform.

Aflatoxin M1 in Milk and Infant Formula QSight

Aflatoxin B1 is often found in animal feeds such as corn, cottonseed cake, groundnut meal, and other agricultural commodities.
