We are committed to conducting business with all stakeholders in accordance with the highest standard of ethics, transparency and integrity, and in compliance with the law. Sound corporate governance is fundamental to how we work and operate, and enables us to deliver better outcomes for our employees, customers, partners, suppliers, shareholders, and ultimately the world.
Standards of Business Conduct
As part of our commitment, PerkinElmer provides Business Conduct training and distributes Standards of Business Conduct to all employees, who are expected to follow both the spirit and the letter of the law. Our Standards of Business Conduct is available in 15 languages (see sidebar for details).
There are two ways to contact the PerkinElmer Ethics Hotline:
- United States: 866-723-0561
- Outside of the United States: (+1) 781-663-6905
*This call is free in the United States, but is a toll call outside the United States.
Our Compliance Committee monitors our company-wide adherence to laws, regulations and internal policies. To do so, the committee, which is comprised of senior PerkinElmer personnel, receives regular reports from a diverse group of representatives from our major areas of compliance focus, including Health and Safety, Human Resources, Insurance/Risk Management, FDA/Quality and more. It then contributes to PerkinElmer's overall compliance program, advocating training opportunities, budget requests and other risk-reducing initiatives to ensure our program is well communicated and supportive of lawful and ethical business practices.
Dealer Code of Conduct
In order to communicate PerkinElmer’s standards for ethical and lawful business conduct to those third parties with whom we engage around the globe, we have developed a Code of Business Conduct for Dealers and Agents. This document summarizes the values and principles that PerkinElmer expects of those third parties as they conduct business relating to PerkinElmer.
We partner with suppliers to support the aims and objectives of the Dodd-Frank Act regarding the use of "conflict minerals" in the materials we purchase. Read more about our commitment to continue working with our supply chain on this important issue.
California Transparency in Supply Chains Act
The California Transparency in Supply Chains Act requires certain manufacturers doing business in the State of California to disclose their efforts to eliminate the use of slave labor and human trafficking from their supply chains. Read PerkinElmer’s statement on this below.
To satisfy our customers, PerkinElmer will provide superior customer value through on-time delivery of the right products and services of the highest quality in compliance with global regulatory requirements.
Depending on the nature of products and services, most of our facilities and businesses have been appropriately certified to ISO 9001, ISO 13485, AS 9100 and others to meet relevant ISO and regulatory requirements for quality management.
