LANCE and LANCE (LANthanide Chelate Excitation) Ultra are our TR-FRET (time-resolved fluorescence resonance energy transfer), homogeneous (no wash) technologies. One binding partner of interest is labeled with a donor fluorophore (a LANCE Europium chelate) and a second one is labeled with an acceptor fluorophore (ULight™ dye). Upon excitation at 320-340 nm, energy can be transferred from the donor Europium chelate to the acceptor fluorophore if sufficiently close for FRET (~10 nm). This results in the emission of light detectable at 665 nm.
DELFIA (Dissociation-Enhanced Lanthanide Fluorescence Immunoassay) is a proven, robust immunodetection platform based on time-resolved fluorescence (TRF) detection. This detection method, coupled with the unique chemical properties of lanthanide chelates, makes DELFIA a superior alternative to conventional ELISA for research, drug discovery, and clinical applications.

The Alpha SureFire®Ultra™ Multiplex phospho-NFκB p65 (Ser536) + Total NFκB p65 assay kit is used to measure both the phosphorylation (on Ser536) and total levels of endogenous NFκB in cellular lysates. The assay is an ideal system for the screening of modulators of receptor activation (e.g. agonists and antagonists) as well as agents acting intracellularly, such as small molecule inhibitors of signal transduction. The assay will measure NFκB phosphorylation by either recombinant or endogenous receptors, and can be applied to primary cells.
