In-Service Oil Analysis by ICP-OES. In-Service Lubricant Laboratories face a myriad of challenges when it comes to running hundreds of samples each day on their ICP. In the first part of this webcast, we’ll review best practices for effective oil analysis by ICP. This solid foundation sets the scene for adding secondary applications to successful oil analysis. Hyphenated Particle Count with ICP-OES. Traditionally, particle counting and elemental analyses are conducted separately. This requires additional time to separately prepare the same sample. Additionally, running 2 different preparations of the same sample introduces challenges for each analysis. During the second half of this live webcast, we’ll discuss a patent-pending approach for integrating particle counting and wear metals analysis into a single sample run – a game changer in laboratory workflow that considerably improves operating costs..
