OF

For all of your analytical and biological applications, our vials, caps, and septa are made from the highest quality materials. Our portfolio consists of GC vials and LC vials, GC caps and LC caps, and GC septa and LC septa.

Through our biological line, we offer glass and plastic vials for optimal measurement of samples by liquid scintillation counting. Our glass vials are chemically-inert, making them suitable for use with aggressive reagents and solubilizers. They offer good visibility and don't allow solvent permeation. Our plastic vials offer the lowest background, higher counting efficiency, and are combustible for easier disposal.

We also offer a choice of caps:

  • Foil-lined urea -- best for airtight seal
  • Poly-cone line -- best for aggressive reagents
  • Poly screw cap -- basic plastic cap, no insert

Our Midi-Vial™ is an 8 mL HDPE vial, providing 33% more sample capacity than miniature vials. This allows miniaturization from 20 mL size vials when used in combination with high sample capacity cocktails. It features the same unique push-on/twist-off closure system as Pony Vials.

Pico Hang-In Vial, 6 mL, Anti-Static, case of 2000

Our Pico ‘Hang-In’ Vial™ is a miniature polyethylene scintillation vial for use in standard 20 mL liquid scintillation analyzers. The unique self-centering design allows a 20 mL LSC vial to be used as a carrier. This system makes it possible to use large and small vials (small vial contained in a large vial) intermixed in one rack.

Vented Pico Holder

Vented Pico Holder, 100/CS

The Vented Pico Holder is a high density polyethylene holder for counting all Packard miniature vials (including the 'Hang-in' version) in conventional LSC systems. The windows enable the electrostatic controller to remove static electricity from the counting vial. Can be used on all types of LSC instruments.
