TSA Plus kits deliver ultimate sensitivity in immunohistochemistry (IHC), immunofluorescence (IF), and in situ hybridization (ISH) assays. This widely referenced method uses horseradish peroxidase (HRP) to mediate intense covalent deposition of detection labels at very close proximity to the epitope or sequence of interest. TSA Plus has been employed for quantitative detection in a wide variety of sample types including formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue, cryosections and cultured cells.
TSA Plus Cyanine 5.5 provides another option for fluorescent detection with spectral characteristics that are generally similar to Alexa Fluor 680® or IRDye® 680LT. It has maximum absorbance at 673 nm and maximum emission at 692 nm.
TSA Plus Cyanine 5.5 is ideal for multiplexed IHC or ISH in combination with other TSA fluorophores. The Opal™ protocol allows simultaneous measurement of 6 or more biomarkers in FFPE tissue.
