Each cover has two vent holes and is used for the Pyris 1 DSC, DSC 7, DSC-4, and DSC-2 sample holders.
DSC performance is enhanced with sample holder covers that are formed properly and not degraded by extended usage. This tool allows the analyst to reform the platinum covers to their original dimensions.
PerkinElmer reference materials are 99.999% pure. DSC requires elements of this purity so that the instrument can be accurately calibrated. Depend on PerkinElmer for quality calibration reference materials.

Under no circumstances should the capsules be heated above 300° C. Any application requiring the heating beyond 200° C or where gaseous decomposition products may be generated should first be tested outside of the instrument. Always use guard ring inserts in conjunction with the sealed capsules. Included in the Large Volume Stainless Steel Capsule Kit (P/N 03190021).
For sealing high pressure capsules P/N B0182901, B0182902, and B0182903. The sealer for the original high pressure capsules has been discontinued. The specifications of the original high pressure capsules are identical to the new high pressure capsules.
