Search Overview

To get the best results, PerkinElmer recommends the use of discriminating terms that are likely to be found only in the documents you seek. The more words you provide, the more refined the results will be.

PerkinElmer has provided the search results in three sections. The first section of results is the product pages. These pages provide access to product information as well as product related materials. The second section is OneSource service and support. This section includes information about the products, including how to use and maintain them. It also provides access to information about the support and services that PerkinElmer can provide to customers. The third section is the additional results section. This area includes all other pages.

The number of results returned is displayed at the top of the first search result page. If there is more than one page of results, You can navigate through the results pages by selecting the page numbers that are presented in each results section.

Show Summaries / Hide Summaries

The show summaries feature will display a summary of the page content for each search result that is returned. Selecting "show summaries" will turn-on this option. Selecting "hide summaries" will turn off this option.

And / Or

The search default is a Boolean AND, meaning a search term "Gas Chromatography" will return items containing both "gas" and "chromatography".

To return pages that have either "gas" or "chromatography" you will need to enter an "OR" between words.

Filtering

There is the ability to search for certain types of content. By selecting the corresponding filter, the results returned are filtered to include only Application Notes or only Product Pages or only MSDS pages.
