At PerkinElmer, we believe that part of our role is to move beyond our corporate scope and drive positive change into local communities and across the globe. We strive to be a positive global citizen by listening and participating in our communities and being a good corporate neighbor.
Employee activity committees at our facilities organize and support volunteer opportunities, community services, and blood drives. Each year, our employee volunteer activities include participation in community service organizations and activities such as food, clothing and back-to-school drives, tutoring and mentoring in local schools, rebuilding homes, charity walk-a-thons, and much more.
PerkinElmer Foundation
The PerkinElmer Foundation was formed in 1979 and supports U.S. charitable organizations in communities where PerkinElmer operates and that support our Company's focus and commitment to Human and Environmental Health. The Foundation has a special focus on helping non-profit organizations that are dedicated to earlier and more accurate diagnosis of disease and improving and protecting the environment in which we live.
Donations by corporate officers to qualifying non-profit entities are also matched by the Foundation up to a specific fiscal limit per year.
